About The Position

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Facility in Springdale, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to individuals at the healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare environment in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related concerns, or maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.
  • Assist patients, visitors, and staff with directions and general information as needed.
  • Support access control measures by monitoring entrances and exits and verifying identification when required.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and first responders during emergency situations and/or drills.
  • Maintain a professional presence and represent Allied Universal at all times while on duty.
