As an Allied Universal Security Officer in a fast-paced Tech, Media and Telecom location, you will manage access control, greet employees and visitors, verify credentials, and control entry points while supporting a welcoming experience. You will monitor activity, conduct routine patrols, respond to alarms and/or incidents, and document security-related observations with clear communication. Requirements

  • Security Experience ‐ 1+ Years is required.
  • 21+ Years of Age is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm Panel Experience - preferred.
  • Lift Up to 20 lbs - preferred.
  • Customer Service Experience - preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Staff access control points by verifying identification and access authorization, issuing visitor credentials per site policy, and maintaining sign-in and/or badge logs.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity for irregularities, help to deter unauthorized access, and promptly report concerns through the proper communication channels.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, production and/or office spaces, and the perimeter as required by the location, noting and reporting unusual activity or conditions.
