As an Allied Universal Officer in an industrial manufacturing location, you will support access control by greeting employees and visitors, checking credentials, issuing badges, and managing entry and exit points. You will monitor cameras and alarms, complete patrols and reports, and communicate clearly with site leadership to help reduce security-related incidents. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Manage access control at entrances, gates, and/or guard stations by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining logs, and directing authorized traffic through the location.
• Monitor alarm panels, cameras, and/or other access control systems and report irregular activity that may help to deter unauthorized entry or other policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and/or emergency services as required and completing detailed reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter, noting hazards, open doors, and/or unusual conditions and escalating concerns per site procedures.
