You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. Support access control, assist tenants and visitors with professional customer service, and communicate clearly with your team and site contacts. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by following post orders, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with initial notifications, access control concerns, and/or property management requests.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including building common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter routes, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report security-related conditions such as unlocked doors, loitering, lighting outages, and/or unusual activity, and document observations in daily activity and incident reports.
• Assist with access control by observing entry points, verifying visitor permissions when required, and/or directing individuals to proper check-in procedures per site-specific policies.
