As an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry and exit points, greet employees and visitors, verify credentials, issue badges, maintain logs, and monitor cameras and alarms for security-related activity. You will support smooth traffic flow at docks and gates, communicate clearly with site teams, and respond to concerns with care. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
- Control access at entry points for a logistics and distribution location by checking identification, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining visitor and contractor logs.
- Monitor inbound and outbound vehicle and trailer traffic at gates and/or docks, verify delivery documentation when required, and direct drivers to appropriate check-in locations.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services per post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, yard, and perimeter, and report unusual conditions, unsecured doors, and/or suspicious activity per site procedures.
