As an Allied Universal Access Control Officer at a residential location, you will help manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, log visitors and deliveries, and monitor cameras and alarms for security-related concerns. You will remain highly visible, communicate clearly with residents and staff, and respond to incidents with professionalism. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential location.
- Control access at entrances by verifying identification, authorizing entry, issuing visitor passes when applicable, and maintaining visitor and delivery logs per site guidelines.
- Monitor CCTV, intercoms, alarms, and/or access control systems and report irregular activity or maintenance concerns to the appropriate contact.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, completing detailed reports and communicating with management and/or local emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
