As an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, issue and track badges, and support screening procedures as needed. You will remain visible, conduct routine rounds, and document security-related activity while delivering strong customer service and clear communication. Requirements

• Have 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• X-Ray Screening Experience is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access at entry and exit points by verifying identification, checking visitor and driver logs, issuing badges as required, and directing visitors, drivers, and vendors to proper destinations.
• Monitor inbound and outbound traffic for employees, contractors, and delivery personnel, helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or restricted-area access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications and documenting details per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, and perimeter, watching for unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations and reporting findings through required logs and reports.
