As a Front Desk Officer at a high-end retail location, you will welcome guests, manage access control and visitor check-in, and monitor entry activity to help identify and help deter security-related issues. You will support store teams with clear communication, incident documentation, and a professional presence that reflects Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity while putting people first.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and guests at a front desk or reception area by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Control access to the location by greeting and directing visitors, verifying identification and/or appointments as required, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining visitor and delivery logs.
  • Monitor the front entrance and nearby areas for unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access by maintaining a professional presence and communicating concerns to onsite personnel.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel, documenting details, and assisting with crowd and/or guest management as needed.
  • Complete required reports and communications such as incident reports, shift activity logs, and handoff notes in support of Allied Universal and client requirements.
