You will use a computer and/or tablet to document activity and coordinate responses to routine issues. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer Service Experience is preferred.
  • Access Control and/or Badge Experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Staff the front desk reception area by greeting and directing visitors, validating identification and/or appointment details, issuing visitor badges, and maintaining visitor logs.
  • Monitor lobby activity and security-related systems such as CCTV, alarms, and intercoms, and report irregular activity according to post orders and escalation guidelines.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
  • Complete written and/or electronic reports, shift logs, and incident documentation in a timely manner, and communicate pass-down information to oncoming personnel.
