You will help manage access, monitor entry activity, respond to inquiries, and communicate security-related concerns with professionalism and care. Requirements

  • Have 1+ years' law enforcement experience or 2+ years' security supervisor or manager experience or 3+ years' security-related experience.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access guidelines, and customer service standards at the front desk.
  • Control access to the location by verifying identification, issuing visitor badges, managing sign-in and/or sign-out logs, and directing guests to appropriate areas.
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems from the front desk, reporting irregular activity and/or equipment issues per site policy.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
  • Complete detailed reports and shift documentation, including incident reports, service logs, and communications with Allied Universal supervision and client representatives.
