As a Front Desk officer in a healthcare location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact, managing access, greeting patients and visitors, answering questions, and supporting a professional check-in experience. You will monitor the lobby area, document security-related activity, and communicate concerns to the team with calm, clear customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk of a healthcare location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Control access to the facility by greeting and directing visitors, verifying identification and/or appointment information as required, and issuing temporary access credentials per site policy.
  • Monitor lobby activity, cameras, and/or access control systems; document irregular conditions and report concerns to onsite management and/or responding personnel.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating notifications to appropriate staff and/or emergency services.
  • Complete required logs and reports such as visitor entries, incident reports, and shift activity notes, and communicate status updates during shift transitions.
