Join Allied Universal in an access control role at a food and beverage location where you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, greet employees and visitors, and support smooth traffic flow at gates and lobbies. You will conduct routine patrols, document activity, and communicate concerns to site leadership while delivering customer service that reflects our agile, reliable, and innovative approach and our caring, integrity-driven teamwork.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Control access at employee and visitor entry points by verifying identification and/or credentials, issuing temporary badges as directed, and maintaining visitor, contractor, and delivery logs.
• Screen and route incoming deliveries and outbound shipments by confirming appointment details and/or paperwork, coordinating with site contacts, and directing vehicles to designated docks or staging areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, policy concerns, and/or suspicious activity to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas including production-adjacent spaces, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or policy violations.
