As an unarmed patrol Security Officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents while delivering welcoming customer service. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be able to ride a bike.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, tenants, and/or employees by carrying out security procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail and mall environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, storefront perimeters, parking areas, and/or service corridors, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, disorderly conduct, property damage, and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor and report security-related concerns, hazards, and/or maintenance issues, and communicate updates to site leadership and/or law enforcement as needed.
• Complete detailed activity and incident documentation, including patrol logs and written reports, and participate in shift briefings and/or post instructions.
