As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to situations with calm communication, document observations, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Requirements

• Have 6+ months of security-related experience.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following site-specific policies, access control procedures, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting onsite leadership and/or public emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of offices, building perimeters, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or authorization, maintain visitor and vendor logs, and direct deliveries to designated areas.
• Complete daily reports and incident documentation, communicate observations to client staff and Allied Universal leadership, and support security-related operations such as key control and alarm response as assigned.
