As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will assist staff, patients, and visitors with directions and service-focused communication, while documenting observations and reporting concerns. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of assigned buildings, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter to help discourage unauthorized activity and/or hazards; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual conditions, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity; report concerns per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and directing people to appropriate resources per post orders.
• Complete detailed shift documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and/or other required records; communicate key information to site contacts and oncoming personnel.
