As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post, so you will use a vehicle to cover the site and respond to calls for assistance. You will represent Allied Universal with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach through clear communication and customer service.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and support badging and/or visitor management processes, reporting unauthorized access attempts and following site protocols for entry and exit.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and escalating per post orders.
• Complete routine security-related reports and communicate with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts regarding hazards, maintenance issues, and unusual activity to help to deter loss and disruption.
