As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. You will remain visible throughout the location, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate with staff and visitors. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of staff, visitors, and patients.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns specific to a healthcare environment.
Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards, following established procedures for healthcare locations.
Collaborate with healthcare staff to address security-related needs and provide assistance as required.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of all activities, incidents, and observations during patrols.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying identification, and helping to manage visitor flow in accordance with healthcare site protocols.
