As an unarmed, driving patrol officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will complete routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm, clear communication. You will document observations, support access control, and provide customer-focused assistance to tenants, visitors, and staff, bringing agility, reliability, and integrity to every interaction through strong teamwork.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A minimum of 1+ years of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a commercial property environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and access control concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, addressing suspicious behavior, loitering, and policy violations in accordance with post orders and local requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with property management and/or responding agencies as directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and service requests in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate shift updates to Allied Universal supervision.
