Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing location, where you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support employees and visitors with professional service. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and respond to routine calls for assistance. Bring a valid driver’s license and a teamwork-first mindset rooted in integrity.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Have 1 or more years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazardous conditions.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials for employees, contractors, and visitors, and maintain visitor, vehicle, and delivery logs in accordance with site requirements.
• Complete detailed written reports, document security-related events and observations, and communicate shift activity to Allied Universal leadership and/or site management.
