As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine mobile and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and respond to calls for service with professional communication and customer care. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to Allied Universal clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of common areas, tenant spaces as directed, parking areas, loading zones, and the exterior perimeter, noting unusual conditions and reporting them per post orders.
  • Monitor access points and respond to access concerns, unauthorized entry attempts, loitering, and/or suspicious behavior in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations by assessing conditions, summoning assistance as needed, providing clear directions to occupants and/or visitors, and documenting actions taken.
  • Complete required reports such as daily activity logs, incident reports, and maintenance or hazard notifications, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
