As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will greet employees and visitors, verify credentials, manage entry logs, and support vehicle and pedestrian screening to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. You will stay visible, communicate clearly, and partner with site teams using Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative approach, teamwork, and integrity-first culture.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
Control access to the facility by verifying identification, managing visitor check-in and/or badging, maintaining entry and exit logs, and directing traffic at gates and other controlled points.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including dispatching notifications, documenting events, and supporting on-site response as directed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards, unsecured doors, and irregular conditions.
Complete required reports, including shift activity logs and incident documentation, and communicate security-related observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
