As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will greet employees and visitors, support access control, respond to concerns, and document activity with clear communication. Requirements

Be at least 21+ years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
Monitor access control points, verify identification and/or authorization, issue visitor credentials per site policy, and help to deter unauthorized entry.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and requesting law enforcement and/or emergency services when directed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter, observing for irregular activity, unsecured doors, and/or policy violations.
Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and/or other documentation, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
