As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will greet employees and visitors, support access control, respond to concerns, and document activity with clear communication. Requirements

• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Monitor access control points, verify identification and/or authorization, issue visitor credentials per site policy, and help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and requesting law enforcement and/or emergency services when directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter, observing for irregular activity, unsecured doors, and/or policy violations. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and/or other documentation, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
