As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout an educational location. Your role involves monitoring assigned areas, assisting students and staff, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving position, offering a dynamic environment where you can contribute to a caring team that values integrity, innovation, and putting people first. Position Type: Flex Pay Rate: $24.31 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Sun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or activities.
Assist with emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and site management.
Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding daily activities, observations, and incidents encountered during patrols.
Communicate professionally with staff, students, visitors, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
Follow all instructions and guidelines provided by Allied Universal and site leadership.
