As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining visible and approachable. Your role is to provide outstanding customer service and communication, supporting a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the educational environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe any unusual occurrences.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
Document incidents and observations in detailed reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership.
Assist students, staff, and visitors with directions, information, and other inquiries while maintaining a visible presence.
Support emergency response protocols and assist local authorities and/or emergency personnel as needed.
