As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence for students, staff, and visitors. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining visible throughout the campus, and offering outstanding customer service while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and putting people first. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within an educational environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with students, staff, visitors, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
Maintain accurate and detailed logs or reports of daily activities and incidents as required by Allied Universal and the location.
Follow all instructions and guidelines provided by Allied Universal and the location to support a secure and orderly environment.
