As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a front desk within a financial institution location, you will greet employees and visitors, verify access, manage badges and/or keys, monitor cameras and alarms, document incidents, and communicate issues to onsite partners. Your professional presence helps to deter security-related concerns while delivering strong customer service. Requirements

  • Have 1 or more years of security experience.
  • Be able to lift more than 20 lbs preferred.
  • Have a guard card and/or license preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to Allied Universal clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial services location.
  • Staff the front desk by greeting visitors, verifying identification, processing sign-in and/or access requests, and directing guests to the appropriate destination.
  • Monitor lobby and entry area activity, observe for irregular conditions, and help to deter unauthorized access by following established access control procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting management and/or emergency services as required by post orders.
  • Complete required reports, incident documentation, and pass-down communications, and maintain accurate visitor logs and desk records per site requirements.
