You will support a polished lobby experience, manage access control and badge activity, respond to alarms and/or unusual activity, and document incidents with clear communication. Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control processes, and security-related policies, and/or assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate.
Greet and screen visitors, issue visitor credentials, and direct guests to the appropriate contacts while following location entry requirements.
Monitor the lobby and front desk area for unusual activity and report concerns through the proper channels to help to deter unauthorized access.
Answer and route phone calls, manage incoming inquiries, and communicate updates to building occupants and authorized personnel as needed.
Control access points by verifying identification, validating appointments, and maintaining sign-in and sign-out records in accordance with location requirements.
Monitor alarms, cameras, and/or other systems from the front desk as assigned, and report equipment issues or suspicious activity.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken.
Complete required reports and logs, including incident reports, visitor activity records, and shift handoff notes, using clear and professional writing.
Support security-related procedures for deliveries and couriers, including verifying documentation, directing to designated drop-off areas, and logging activity.
Coordinate with Allied Universal supervision and location management to address service requests, follow post orders, and maintain a professional front desk presence.
