As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and/or requests for assistance, document activity, and communicate clearly with site contacts and teammates. Bring an agile, reliable mindset, deliver through teamwork, and act with integrity while providing customer-focused service.

Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card/license.
• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, data halls, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Control access at staffed posts by verifying identification, processing visitors and/or contractors, and monitoring entry points in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Complete detailed reports and logs on patrols, incidents, and unusual conditions, and communicate timely updates to Allied Universal management and site contacts.
