You will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help deter incidents, and communicate clearly with site staff and visitors while documenting security-related activity. If you bring an Armed Guard Card and take pride in integrity, teamwork, and customer service, this role offers a dynamic, high-impact assignment.

Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card/license.
• Maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, vendors, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access control requirements, and other security-related policies at a technology-focused location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, critical infrastructure areas, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor alarms, CCTV, and access control systems; investigate irregular activity, document observations, and escalate concerns through the established chain of command.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting emergency response activities as directed by site procedures.
• Complete detailed reports, shift logs, and incident documentation, and coordinate with on-site teams and/or local law enforcement when required.
