You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors. Requirements

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Baton certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Perform armed patrol duties, including regular and random patrols of buildings, data halls, parking areas, and the perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access control points, visitor processing, and alarm and/or camera systems, and document unusual conditions for follow-up.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing timely notifications to site leadership and/or public responders as needed.
• Prepare clear, detailed reports and activity logs, and communicate security-related information during shift turnovers and/or post updates.
