As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with site contacts and visitors. This is an armed post requiring an Armed Guard Card or License, offering a fast-paced environment where agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity guide every shift.

Requirements

• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, tenants, and/or visitors by following post orders, site-specific policies, and assigned security-related procedures at a technology-focused location.
• Carry and maintain assigned firearms and related equipment in accordance with licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site instructions.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including parking areas, building entrances, loading areas, and perimeter points, noting conditions that may require follow-up.
• Respond to alarms, suspicious activity, and critical incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner; request assistance from site leadership and/or local emergency services as needed.
• Complete thorough reports and logs, document patrol observations and incident details, and communicate relevant information during shift transitions.
