As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will engage with employees and visitors through clear communication and customer service while documenting observations and responding to situations as they arise. Requirements

  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Perform armed patrol duties in accordance with post orders, applicable laws, and Allied Universal guidelines, including maintaining proper control and accountability of assigned equipment.
  • Respond to alarms, disturbances, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, and escalate issues to site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of lobbies, teller areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor management as required, complete routine reports and incident documentation, and communicate observations to client representatives and Allied Universal supervision.
