Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence throughout.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas within the retail environment to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted incidents.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site policies.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when necessary, following established protocols.
Remain alert and attentive to the surroundings, promptly reporting any unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
