Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a fast-paced food and beverage location, conducting routine foot and vehicle patrols, controlling access, and responding to security-related concerns with calm professionalism. This post requires a valid driver’s license meeting AU Driver Policy Requirements and Level III Armed Certification. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Certification is required for Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, warehouse staff, vendors and/or visitors by following Allied Universal protocols, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, trailer lots, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or theft.
• Control access at gates and facility entrances by verifying identification, logging visitors, checking deliveries and pickups, and directing traffic flow for trucks and employee vehicles.
• Respond to alarms, disturbances, and/or incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and law enforcement as required.
• Complete detailed reports of patrols, access activity, and incident response, and communicate security-related concerns to supervisors and/or client representatives.
