As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will document observations, respond to concerns, and provide standout customer service through clear communication. Requirements

• Have at least 6+ months of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have CPR and/or First Aid preferred.
• Have X-Ray screening experience preferred.
• Have alarm panel experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, checking identification and/or authorizations, issuing visitor credentials, and directing traffic and deliveries per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate internal personnel and/or public emergency services when required.
• Complete required documentation such as shift activity reports, incident reports, and equipment logs, and communicate relevant information during shift turnover.
