As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to situations with calm, clear communication. You will support daily operations by assisting employees and visitors with a customer-first approach, documenting activity, and working as one team. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Have an armed guard card and/or license.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A valid firearms permit is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, lobby and customer areas, ATM and drive-up areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, confirm authorization where required, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations in accordance with post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting staff and customers and contacting law enforcement and/or emergency services as directed.
  • Complete detailed activity and incident reports, maintain required documentation and equipment logs, and communicate timely updates to Allied Universal management and site contacts.
