As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. This position requires driving and armed responsibilities as you respond to situations and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

At least one year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, and/or military is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor for potential security-related issues and report any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Interact with individuals on site in a courteous and professional manner while upholding the expectations of Allied Universal and the client.
Maintain awareness of the surroundings and communicate any observed hazards or incidents promptly.
Support law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed during incidents at the location.
