As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is an armed and driving post where you will respond to incidents, interact with visitors and staff, and provide exceptional customer service. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with working environments and conditions that may vary by location.
Monitor and report any suspicious activity or security-related hazards encountered during patrols.
Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and/or contractors at the site, addressing inquiries and providing assistance as needed.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, observations, and/or activities during each shift.
Follow all Allied Universal and client site protocols related to access control, incident reporting, and emergency procedures.
Carry and maintain assigned firearms and related equipment in accordance with company and site-specific requirements, adhering to all applicable laws and regulations.
