As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. Requirements

Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor for suspicious activity and report observations according to established protocols.
Assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors with access control and verification processes as required by site policies.
Document all incidents, observations, and actions taken during shifts using required reporting systems.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel during incidents, following proper communication channels.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activities and provide reassurance to those on site.
Participate in ongoing training and adhere to all Allied Universal and site-specific procedures and guidelines.
