As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated transportation locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires carrying a firearm and operating a vehicle as part of your daily responsibilities. You will contribute to a secure environment by remaining visible, interacting with people, and upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and innovation in every interaction.

Requirements

At least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience are required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the transportation location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for suspicious activity and report findings according to established protocols.
Control access to restricted areas and verify credentials as required.
Maintain detailed records and logs of daily activities, incidents, and irregularities.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
Remain alert and prepared to act in accordance with Allied Universal procedures and client expectations.
