As an Allied Universal Access Control Officer at a busy manufacturing location, you will greet visitors, manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, and document activity to support daily operations. You will maintain a visible presence, conduct routine patrols, and communicate concerns to help reduce security-related incidents while delivering standout customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Our team is agile, reliable, innovative, and acts with integrity.

Requirements

• Security Experience ‐ 2+ Years is required.
• TSA Issued TWIC is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all visitors, contractors, and employees by following site-specific access control procedures, badging requirements, and Allied Universal policies.
• Control entry and exit at gates and/or lobbies by verifying identification, validating appointments and/or work orders, issuing temporary credentials as directed, and maintaining access logs.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site leadership and/or emergency services per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and other security-related concerns.
• Complete security-related reports and documentation such as shift activity logs, incident reports, and access control records, and communicate key information during shift transitions.
