Join Allied Universal at a Tech, Media, and/or Telecom location where you will manage access control, verify credentials, issue and track badges, and support visitor and employee entry with clear, professional communication. You will complete routine patrols and reporting that help reduce security-related incidents while delivering a people-first customer experience. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license to meet AU Driver Policy requirements. Position Type: Flex Pay Rate: $22.25 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Sun 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a tech, media, and/or telecom location.
  • Control access at entry points by verifying identification, issuing and/or collecting badges, managing visitor and contractor check-in, and maintaining access logs.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and other access control systems, document unusual activity, and communicate issues to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with evacuations, medical response coordination, and/or notifications per site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, complete patrol reports, and report maintenance concerns such as doors, gates, and lighting that may impact access control.
