As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support customers and staff through strong communication, timely reporting, and a calm, service-first approach. Requirements

• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity and/or hazards.
• Monitor access points and public areas, assist with visitor direction and/or queue management, and help report unauthorized or suspicious behavior to the appropriate contacts.
• Document patrols, observations, and incident details in written reports and/or logs, and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
