You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential hazards.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs of deliveries, contractors, and/or other site visitors.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
  • Prepare clear, timely reports regarding patrol observations, incidents, access-control activity, and other security-related concerns.
