Per Mar Security Services is seeking Entry Level and Experienced Security Officers to join our expanding team! The company provides full-service security solutions for homes and businesses, including security officer services, smart home automation, burglar and fire alarms, access control, security cameras, alarm monitoring, investigative services, and background checks. The Fire Panel Operator is responsible for continuously monitoring the fire alarm control systems and dispatching the Fire Protection Officer (FPO) in response to any alerts. This role ensures timely communication, accurate logging, and coordination with emergency response teams to maintain site safety and compliance.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• Familiarity with security equipment
• Ability to handle physical workload

Responsibilities

• Monitor fire alarm control panels 24/7.
• Acknowledge and assess alarm types: fault, pre-alarm, and fire.
• Ensure seamless shift handovers and operational continuity.
• Immediately dispatch the Fire Protection Officer upon alarm activation.
• Notify internal emergency contacts and site supervisors.
• Maintain communication with fire teams and security personnel.
• Log all communications and actions taken during incidents.
• Report faults or malfunctions in the fire panel system.
• Assist with system resets and support technicians during testing or repairs.
• Maintain detailed logs of alarms, faults, and drills.
• Record response times and actions taken.
• Ensure logs are secure and audit-ready.
• Follow fire codes and plant safety protocols.
• Complete required training and stay current on system updates.
• Maintain readiness for audits and inspections.
