Requirements

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials for employees, visitors, and vendors.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, visitor logs, and incident reports as required by site procedures.
Assist with emergency response activities, including providing information and guidance to building occupants as needed.
Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters and site updates.
Support efforts to help deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity at the front desk area.
