About The Position

As a Security Officer - Financial Front Desk Support in San Diego, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a financial institution, you will be the first point of contact, greeting visitors and assisting with access control. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
A valid guard card or license is preferred.
Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Monitor access to the facility, verifying identification and/or credentials for employees, visitors, and vendors as required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff, addressing questions and/or concerns related to site access and procedures.
Document and report security-related incidents, unusual activities, and/or emergencies according to site protocols.
Assist with emergency response activities at the front desk as directed by site management or Allied Universal leadership.
