As a Front Desk Security Professional in a financial institution location, you will be the first point of contact, providing exceptional customer service while monitoring access and assisting visitors. This is an armed post, where you help to deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming environment. Requirements

  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Have at least 6 months of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military roles.
  • Provide a DD214 with honorable discharge or an associate degree or 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
  • Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities and any security-related incidents.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following established protocols.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or vendors regarding security-related matters.
  • Support Allied Universal management and site leadership with additional security-related tasks as requested.
