As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols throughout the location, maintaining a highly visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. Your role will involve interacting with employees and visitors, responding to situations as they arise, and providing exceptional customer service. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or activities.
Observe and report any unusual or suspicious behavior, hazards, or incidents as per Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
Interact with employees, visitors, and/or customers in a courteous manner while maintaining security-related awareness.
Follow all Allied Universal and client site policies, procedures, and protocols relevant to armed patrol duties within financial institution environments.
